Emily Winakur, Ph. D.

Dr. Winakur has been in private practice as a licensed psychologist in the Bellaire area for several years. A native of San Antonio, she attended Rice University for undergraduate studies. She received her PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Miami, completed her pre-doctoral internship at Harvard University, and her post-doctoral fellowship in the VA system. She enjoys working with a diverse clientele in terms of age, cultural background, and presenting problems.

When possible, Dr. Winakur supervises advanced doctoral-level students from the University of Houston who provide reduced-fee psychotherapy and psychological testing in her office. She meets with these students regularly and frequently to provide oversight of clinical, ethical, and administrative issues. Dr. Winakur completed a post-doctoral fellowship in supervision and training. She highly values contributing to the education of aspiring psychologists.

Caitlin Reddig

Caitlin, our administrative assistant, is a senior at Rice University studying Psychology and Sociology. She plans to pursue a master's degree in social work to advocate for minority and low-income children and families through the nonprofit and clinical sectors. She is originally from Arlington, Texas, and has significant experience working with children as a family ministries summer intern at her home church, a camp counselor, and a day camp leader at Project Transformation.
